Why use goat's milk soap?

IT’S GREAT FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A  NATURAL ALTERNATIVE

Goat milk soap has a lot fewer ingredients than any commercial soap you can find at the pharmacy or supermarket. It’s ideal for people looking to use more natural products. Our pure goat milk soap does not contain any detergents, alcohols, petroleum-derived products, or dyes. Some don’t even have any added fragrances and those that do, get it from essential oils which are also beneficial!

Goat milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. This leaves new cells on the surface of your skin that are smoother and younger-looking. The alpha-hydroxy acids are so effective because they break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. Removing dead skin cells will help many skin conditions by removing irritation.

Goat milk contains many vitamins and antioxidants including Vitamins A, C, and E. but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue and maintain healthy skin. Goat milk also contains important minerals for the skin such as selenium, which is believed by scientists to have an important role in preventing skin cancer. Selenium can also help prevent damage to the skin from excessive time in the sun.

The cream that is present in goat milk helps boost the moisturizing quality of goat milk soaps. Additionally, goat milk soap’s creamy texture helps it reach the in-between cell cracks and gaps easily, providing that luscious, soft feel. The fatty nature of goat milk soap helps your skin maintain a healthy natural oil balance, and even replenishes dry skin.

Goat milk is rich in fat molecules (fatty acids), proteins, and it naturally contains glycerin which boosts its moisturizing qualities. It’s a natural emollient, and it gets quickly absorbed by the skin, creating a barrier that keeps it protected and smooth. If used regularly it’s anti-inflammatory properties can offer relief for skin inflammation.

Goat milk-based skin care products contain all of these properties and more and can help keep acne-causing bacteria in check and kill any germs that have already caused a breakout. Those same properties help soothe other skin infections such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and certain types of dermatitis.

We own and breed dairy goats, the milk comes from our farm.

(SOAP IS NOT LAB TESTED, OR FDA APPROVED. WE MAKE NO CLAIMS) We make no claims as to the health properties of our products. We urge our customers to do their own research into the ingredients we use. And lastly, although our products are natural, look and smell good enough to eat-please DO NOT EAT our products. NOT FOR RESALE

Dairy Management - Our goat kids are raised on their mama's, we DO NOT pull kids or strictly bottle feed them. We believe in very humane, loving care, working with mother nature and with nature's schedule.

We let our does raise their kids, having their babies when they are ready. Several safety measures in place to ensure this, including us, working around the clock!

Kids having access to their moms 24/7 for the first 20- 30 days of life gets their complex rumen working. We can then separate kids overnight and milk the does in the morning—kids get to be with their families the rest of the day!
