Cold process soap is made completely from scratch by mixing oils and goat milk with a natural saponification process—no pre-made bases and no high heat. Because the soap isn’t cooked, the naturally occurring glycerin stays in the bar, which helps attract moisture and keep skin from feeling tight or dry.

This slower process also allows the oils to turn fully into soap over time, creating a harder, longer-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather that’s gentle on skin. It takes weeks to cure properly, but that patience is what makes the difference you can feel.

How This Differs from Other Soaps:

  • Hot process soap is cooked to speed things up. While still handmade, the added heat can reduce some of the delicate benefits of ingredients like goat milk and natural oils.

  • Melt-and-pour soap uses a factory-made soap base that’s melted down and reshaped. It’s quicker and easier, but the soapmaker isn’t creating the soap from the ground up or controlling every ingredient.

Cold process soap is about intention, patience, and full transparency—from the oils we choose to the final bar you use every day. 🐐🧼
It’s not the fastest way to make soap—but it’s one of the best.
