There’s something about this season that never gets old… no matter how many years we’ve been doing it. ![]()
Baby season is in full swing here, and with it comes the early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. It’s a rhythm we know well — one built on care, patience, and letting nature lead the way.
Every single year, it still feels like an honor...
To witness new life, to watch mamas do what they’re made to do, and to play our small part in keeping everything safe, clean, and thriving.
It’s not always easy — but it’s always worth it.
Grateful for the chaos, the quiet moments, and all the little lives that make this season so special.
Very special thank you to the Hanilin sisters — and a little help from Peel Ferry — for getting this farmer back on track when I clearly forgot my east from west (and left from right
).
What started as a stressful run to a veterinary emergency turned into one of those moments you don’t forget. I was an emotional mess, but thanks to good people showing up right when I needed them… everything worked out.
Both goaties are fine and will recover 100%
Small towns, small world — and a whole lot to be grateful for.
