The black hole....some persective..

Life is funny...and full of analogies that I just love! 

Today I was washing buckets, a lot of miscellaneous buckets....goats are very fussy, particular, and have some odd ways - We adapt to them!  

Everyone likes and needs clean water - 

As I was washing buckets...we have several black ones...no one likes black buckets... a dark hole to them...and they just don't like them... they're not used in the barn...last resort...

Maybe it's eyesight...maybe it's depth perception....light and shadow....they love a lighter colored bucket....you will find a lot of livestock equipment in the color red - red is a very visible color - attractant - is it fact or fiction ??  

Color is one of the things...that also sells livestock...cattle are perfect example - the black bladies...bring more at the market - they have more white on their face - makes no scene...except history...some favor among the color pattern...color of course has nothing to do with carcass yields...(meat) ...Another example, tho opposite of the cattle one, is in cats and dogs - all black - are last to be adopted from animal shelters...I remember when we adopted our 2 cats...first year living in Arkansas...we brought them home from Taney County, MO....I had no idea...until they told me about it...stayed with me....We still have Carob, my sweet, sweet boy! - So why is this ?? 

Old wives' tale? - the black cat crossed your path kinda thing -   What do you think ? 

So, we don't buy any more black buckets....we have enough!  LOL 

Remeber - Cleanliness is next to godliness  - keep water vessels clean!
