Strawberry season only comes once a year — bake it into something sweet like fresh-from-the-oven strawberry bread. 🍓🍞

Oh, to dig through the freezer and find that last bag of strawberries… spring may not be here yet — it’s still February in Arkansas — but you can bake yourself a little something extra sweet. Any frozen berries work beautifully. 🍓

You will need - 

3 cups flour 

1 tsp b.soda

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

dash clove

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 1/4 cup oil

1 1/4 cup chopped nuts

20 oz semi frozen strawberries - not fully thawed is best  - don't' use any more than 20 oz - drain, pat dry - 

Can use fresh as well - cut up in halves - 

Combine dry ingredients followed by mixing eggs with oil 

gently combine - I use my hands and fold together in a large bowl - 

Makes 2 - 9x5 loaves - grease pans - bake 350 - 50 minutes - perfect!
