Freshly Cut & Curing
Share
The Country Dirt bars are cut and curing.
Years ago, people used to tell me,
"Learn to enjoy the process."
I couldn't stand those words.
Enjoy the process? Really? Have you ever lived through a house remodel?
Furniture piled everywhere, boxes stacked to the ceiling, dust where dust shouldn't be, and no end in sight?
The house I once took down to the studs nearly 20 years ago is now my office and soap studio kitchen. I never would have imagined that back then.
Funny how life works.
Looking back, the process wasn't the mess. It was becoming the person who could handle the mess.
The same is true for farming, business, and life. We spend so much time focused on where we're going that we forget to notice who we're becoming along the way.
The soap will cure when it's ready.
The newest batch is curing, but there are plenty of Country Dirt bars already cured and ready for their next home.

Pictures to show nutmeg texture - and " in process" pictures of a remodel - many times over - moving racks and equipment all over the place - while one space at a time is finished - (these are a few years old)
