I was recently out of town, catching up on life and taking a little break from the usual farm rhythm. I’m glad to be back — there’s something grounding about this place, about the simple, steady work of caring for the land and animals. I am also so far behind on a few things....

I came home to a coffee pot that died — of all things! Because nothing says “welcome back” like no caffeine and a little extra chaos. So true....I have emergency instant coffee....there are no words...for that stuff....
